Late Sridevi Was Paid A Dance Tribute At Finland's National Diwali Celebrations- Watch Videos

Sridevi left the world of living on February 24 and left us with several fond memories. She has been missing at various events like weddings and Karwa Chauth. Her fans have been paying tribute to her in various forms from time to time. And we bring one such to you now.

The latest to pay tribute to the late Sridevi is the Indian Embassy at Finland. During their annual Diwali celebrations in the country, a group of enthusiastic women danced on some of Sridevi's popular songs. The Twitter handle of the Indian Embassy in Finland shared some videos of the performance. Check them out:

The tweet read, "Watch this graceful and elegant tribute to Bollywood superstar #Sridevi by a Finnish dance group Nach Mayuri, led by Ilona Prashar, a #kathak dancer, at the #Diwali event today in Helsinki (sic)."

The tweet read, "Here is another charming tribute to Bollywood superstar #Sridevi by young Finnish dancers of Nach Mayuri group, who danced to Hawa Hawaii at the #Diwali event in Helsinki today (sic)."

Songs like Hawaa Hawaii from Mr India (1987) and Mere Haatho Mein from Chandni (1989) were performed by the dancers. It won't be wrong to say that the evening was indeed lit up by this tribute to the legendary actress.

A few months back, a similar tribute was paid by a 30-year old photographer,  Tonu Sojatia, who pasted pictures of Sridevi all over her car. Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor met the girl and went emotional after seeing the tribute paid by Tonu.

Then there was the tribute  paid by singer Raveena Mehta at the Cannes Film Festival this year where she wore two of Dimple & Amrin’s handcrafted mixed media garments, both of which had portraits of Sridevi.

Also, there was a tribute paid by Bollywood Art Project (BAP), who are famous for making murals of celebrities across Mumbai. They made a big painting of Sridevi in Bandra and revealed it to the public on the legendary actress' birth anniversary.

Last but definitely not the least, there was also a tribute given to Sridevi by the Information And Broadcasting Ministry when they showed some of the best films of Sridevi for over 2 days on and around her birth anniversary.

Sridevi will soon be seen in a cameo in Aanand L Rai's upcoming film Zero. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, the film is set to hit theatres this Christmas on December 21.
