Laal Kaptaan New Poster: Saif Ali Khan Announces A New Release Date Along With HIs Deadly Naga Sadhu Look
Saif Ali Khan’s Laal Kaptaan has been the talk of the town since its inception. It was on Saif Ali Khan’s 49th birthday that the makers unveiled his first look and it only added to the film’s hype. The clip featured Khan in a never-seen-before avatar of a Naga Sadhu, who could be seen rubbing ash on his forehead. Not to miss those fierce expressions. Today, producer of the film, Aanand L Rai, took to his social media and shared another poster of Laal Kaptaan, featuring Saif Ali Khan and it’s sure to send chills down your spine!

The poster yet again sees Saif Ali Khan in his Naga Sadhu avatar; however, a closer look at his face this time. The Nawab, in his massive deadlocks and a huge beard, looks deadly. Must say, we are impressed because Saif Ali Khan, yet again, seems to have gotten into the skin of his character with the utmost ease. And if his first look is so powerful, imagine the hysteria that should unfold when the film releases. In his caption, Aanand L Rai, wrote, “Revenge is all he seeks and his HUNT reveals tomorrow, #LaalKaptaan, in theatres from 18th October,” which means that the trailer of Laal Kaptaan will be disclosed tomorrow.

Check it out below:

In the past, pictures of Saif carrying dreadlocks and heavy beard surfaced on social media and netizens started comparing to Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of Caribbean franchise. As a response to the same, Saif Ali Khan told Mid-Day, “My nephew Kiaan [Karisma Kapoor’s son] and son [Ibrahim] saw the photographs before they had leaked, and said, ‘Hey, that’s Jack Sparrow.’ The resemblance was because of the jacket and dreadlocks. While filming, I never thought about it. If I did, I wouldn’t have done it. But, everything will make sense when you see the film.”

Laal Kaptaan releases on October 18, 2019, but was slated to release on October 11 earlier.
