Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon is all geared up for the release of her next ‘Adipurush’ where she essays the role of Sita. On Tuesday, the trailer of Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer mythological film was released at a grand event in Mumbai and it was attended by the cast and crew of the film. A video from the event has surfaced online and it shows Kriti sitting on the ground as she finds no empty seats to watch the trailer. 

In the clip, the Heropanti actress was seen walking on the carpet while she is surrounded by people. However, when she found no empty seats, she went on to sit on the ground.  Her gesture left everyone surprised and people offered her a seat. But the actress assured them that it is not a big deal. The video of the same has gone viral on social media and fans are loving Kriti’s down-to-earth personality. Reacting to this video, one netizen commented, “Ye hai Indian culture sadi me kitti sunder lag rhi.” Another said, “Love her simplicity.  However, a few netizens also trolled Sanon, calling it a 'publicity stunt.' At the trailer launch event, the actress looked pretty in a traditional pristine white and gold saree. Her white silk saree adorned with beautifully crafted gota patti embroidered in gold and pink threadwork was designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She styled her look with minimal, statement jewellery pieces, including earrings, statement rings, and ornate gold bangles. 

Talking about ‘Adipurush’, Om Raut’s directorial will see Prabhas playing the role of Lord Ram, while Saif plays the menacing villain Ravan. Having made on a budget of Rs. 500 crores, the film is slated to hit the theatres on 16 June 2023.
