Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar cold war began ever since the former called KJo the flag bearer of nepotism. She sparked the debate in Bollywood which everyone is now talking about. Since her remarks on his show Koffee With Karan, the actress and director were never in talking terms. However, it seems like the two have let the bygones be bygones as they both have some good things to say about each other after they bagged the Padma Shri Awards for their excellence in arts.

After Kangana’s win, she was asked about Karan who also won a Padma Shri award, she congratulated him and said that he has worked to achieve the position he is right now. She also praised the kinds of movies he is doing by saying that it is commendable. With this, we have heard that Karan is now willing to cast the Panga actress. While speaking to Mumbai Mirror, he was quoted saying, “Tomorrow, if I have a film for which I need Kangana, I will pick up the phone and call her. Whatever the problem, whatever may have been said on social media, is irrelevant to me. I’m a filmmaker and she’s an artiste and no amount of personal bias should come in the way of that relationship. I believe in that and will stand by it.”

On the work front, Karan Johar will be donning director’s hat for the magnum opus film, Takht starring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles. Currently, he is producing Vicky and Bhumi’s Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship whose promotions have been started.
