Around 10.30 pm yesterday, Kiran Rao was spotted walking in the lanes of Bandra.
A security guard accompanied her.
Kiran had gone to meet her friend, film-critic Anupama Chopra.
On her way back, she decided to walk it out till her Carter Road home which is not too far from Anupama's building.
The Dhobi Ghat director and the presenter of Ship Of Theseus and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's wife have been friends since many years. In November last year, Chairperson and Director of Mumbai Film Festival (organised by MAMI), Shyam Benegal and Srinivas Narayanan, stepped down. Kiran was appointed as the new Chairperson and Anupama took over as Director.
