King Of Good Times Vijay Mallya Arrested In London, Released On Bail
Business tycoon Vijay Mallya arrested in London over a money laundering case. This is his second arrest in the UK

Mallya, the man behind the celebrated Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar was arrested
in London over a money laundering case, for the second time since fleeing
India. The man who moves around in Bollywood’s swish circles, was released on
bail soon after his arrest at the Westminster Magistrates' Court.

Mallya is wanted in India for defaulting on
loans worth Rs 9,000 Cr. He has been rejecting allegations by investigating
agencies, that he diverted most of these funds borrowed from a State Bank of
India-led consortium of lenders, as fabricated and baseless.
The 61-year-old has been staying in the United
Kingdom for over a year now.
