Katrina Kaif Announces Her New Project ‘Merry Christmas’ Post Wedding With Vicky Kaushal; Actress Is 'Super Excited' To Team Up With Vijay Sethupathi
Katrina Kaif gives a perfect Christmas gift to her fans! On the occasion of Christmas day today, the actress has announced her new project titled ‘Merry Christmas’ with superstar Vijay Sethupathi. Katrina took to her social media handles to announce the same and said "it’s an honor" for her to be directed by ‘master’ Sriram Raghavan. In her post, the actress also mentioned that she is super excited to team up with Sethupathi. Notably, this project marks Katrina’s first announcement post her wedding to actor Vicky Kaushal.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the Tiger Zinda Hai actress shared a photo of herself posing with Vijay Sethupathi, Sriram, and producer Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray. Sharing the post, Katrina wrote, “New Beginnings BACK ON SET with director #sriramraghavan for Merry Christmas! I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it's an honor to be directed by him. . Super excited to be teaming up with @actorvijaysethupathi for this one produced by @rameshtaurani & @sanjayroutraymatchbox.”

The newlywed actress looks stunning in a white top teamed with blue denim jeans in the photo. 


The film went on floors this week and the first schedule is being extensively shot in Mumbai. Reportedly, ‘Merry Christmas’ would be a 90-minute film with no interval. Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the development as saying, “It’s yet another film from Sriram that would keep the viewers on the edge of their seat, and this time around, he is planning it as a straight 90-minute film.  In-fact, the story is written in a way that it does not even warrant an interval. It’s going to follow a fast-paced pattern of storytelling, that Sriram is synonymous with, and there won’t be any breaks in between.”
