Ekta Kapoor's reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan in lead roles is all set to premiere on September 25. Few days ago, pictures of the two actors while shooting for a promo of the show in the outskirts of Mumbai went viral on social media. Now, another set of photographs have found their way to the Internet which has Parth, Erica and Pooja Banerjee shooting the Durga Puja sequence. We had told you that Parth, who will step into Anurag Basu’s shoes in the remake, will also be introduced in the same way that the latter was in the original.

We were the first one to inform Erica has indeed been finalised for the show. Later, we also informed you Parth destroyed Ssharad Malhotra and  Barun Sobti’s chances of becoming Anurag Basu. Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively Cezzane also said, “I am sorry but I haven’t heard his name. How can I comment on him? I am sure he is capable if he has been selected.”

Ekta had taken to her Instagram to share the first teaser of the upcoming show, wherein the lead pair Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan are seen recreating the moment in the same old title track.

Apart from Erica and Parth, Hina Khan will also be part of the remake. She will play the role of Komolika. While the cast is already shooting for the show, Hina will be joining the team in October.

Ekta first hinted about Kasautii Zindagii Kay remake, when she wrote, “With a piece of my broken heart I wrote in 2001, 17 years later I Reboot it dipping in personal pain & lacing it with experiences of an older me! Bringing back my most successful love saga that ran for 9 yrs! Again I’ll take my broken heart & make it into art! #NamesToBeAnnounced".
