Kartik Aaryan's Controversial 'Misogynistic Video': After Receiving Severe Backlash, Actor Drops New Post Which Is All Fun And Games
After deleting the misogynistic video from his social media that sparked controversy, Kartik Aaryan shares another clip and it’s sure to make you LOL!
Last night, Bollywood’s heartthrob Kartik Aaryan was at the receiving end of criticism for his now-deleted video that was termed misogynistic by a lot of netizens, including singer Sona Mohapatra. The clip saw Kartik punishing his sister for making badly-shaped rotis by yanking her ponytail and energetically spinning her around the kitchen. Well, upon receiving the entire backlash, the Luka Chuppi actor instantly removed the video from his page; however, his latest post is sure to make you laugh out loud.
It sees the actor posing for video with two cute kids, one out of who was blowing bubblegum. However, the kid in between turned it into a prank and burst his bubble with his hand. This left the trio into splits. The video was taken at a serene place with hills in the background and we are guessing it’s from the sets of Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2. The actor, in his caption, wrote, “Haste haste kat jayein raste,” followed by a laughing emoticon.
Meanwhile, Sona Mohapatra reacted to Kartik’s controversial video by writing, “I have begun to believe that thus is a new PR strategy for many. Put out misogynistic content or even hire a multiple #MeToo accused & then wait for the feminists to speak up & protest & thus amplify? Free ka publicity. Case in point Kabir Singh, Indian Idol & maybe this too?”
Check out the video below:
She added, “This guy has become a youth idol by consistently starring in misogynistic films & is happy 2 extend it to his disgusting #lockdown video. DV in India is skyrocketing many women stuck 24/7 with their abusers. Call this out #India. He influences many more millions than Tangoli.” Even before Kartik deleted the video, it went viral on social media and raised a lot of eyebrows. We wonder what the actor has to say on this matter though.
For @TheAaryanKartik, it is a big NO when it comes to compromising on the quality of food.#KartikAaryan pic.twitter.com/vETIXziCJ7
