'Kartik Aaryan Not Being Considered For Any SLB Project,' Bhansali's Office Denies Collaborating With The Actor

Kartik Aaryan, who made his Bollywood debut with 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama, has come a long way in his career and is currently one of the most popular stars. He has a huge fan following and also has an interesting lineup of films. He is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh, along with Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. A few weeks back, there had been reports suggesting Kartik Aaryan collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and will play the lead role opposite Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi. However, these rumours have been denied by the CEO of Bhansali Productions who clarified that he is not being considered for any SLB film.

The rumours of Kartik Aaryan playing the male lead opposite Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi began after the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor was spotted outside Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office. However, looks like the rumours were untrue and now Prern Singh CEO of Bhansali Productions has rubbished it, saying, "This is completely untrue and being spread by irresponsible media reports. Kartik is not being considered for any film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir for any directorial project or otherwise for now. But we wish him all the very best for the new release." In other news, Kartik Aaryan is currently gearing up for the release of Pati Patni Aur Who, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. The film will hit the big screens on December 6, 2019. He will also be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiya 2, and in Karan Johar’s Dostana 2.
