The song is based on the soldiers being called back on their duties from the film LOC Kargil, sung by Alka Yagnik and composed by Anu Malik. Lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar, it has a very in-depth meaning to it as soldier head back to the border parting away from their near and dear ones.
2. Toh Chalun, Border (1997)

This track from Lakshay starring Hrithik Roshan is more than a soldier’s journey, it focuses on an individual’s determination to rise against all odds be a better person and stand by your country and face the enemies.
5. Ek Saathi Aur Bhi Tha, LOC Kargil (2003)
This song is the saddest song in the list, as it captures the families bidding a final goodbye to their son/husband/brothers, who have sacrificed their lives for mother nation, while fighting the battle. Leaving the families behind in tears and Sonu Nigam’s soulful voice adds extra emotional touch to it.
