Kareena Kapoor Khan Now Wants To Play A Grey Character On Screen; Listen Up, Filmmakers!
Kareena Kapoor Khan is more than just good looks. She is a versatile actor who now wants to play a grey shade on the big screen.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is more than just a pretty face. She knows her craft well and time and again she has given us a glimpse of how fabulous an actor she is. Films like Chameli, Heroine, Talaash, Jab We Met and others prove her worth. Now, she is working on Karan Johar's Good News with Akshay Kumar. But that's not it. Kareena wants to look beyond her arena and portray some dark and grey roles on the big screen.
In her recent interview with PTI, she expressed her desire to do a grey character on the big screen and said, "I would love to play a grey character if it's a great role. I would definitely want to go for it." Although vivid characters, Kareena has never played a negative role in any film except for Fida. She has always featured in films which are high on romance, so her being a part of a film that has her in a grey character would definitely be refreshing for her fans.
Kareena was last seen in Veere Di Wedding with Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Even then, her performance was praised by the audiences. Post marriage and embracing motherhood, she is going slow with her film career and doing one film at a time. Now, she is working on Good News, post which, she will start the work on Karan Johar's multi-starrer Takht. Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and others are a part of it.
