Kareena has some serious advice for Ranbir

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan had a guest last night -- Ranbir Kapoor.  The Tamasha actor visited his cousin around 11 pm and was there for a good 2 hours.

We hear, Ranbir, Bebo and Saif had a mini celebration of sorts with some yummy home-cooked food. The actress is to deliver her first baby in December and it’s obvious that the uncle-to-be couldn’t contain his excitement.

But it was not all just fun. SpotboyE.com has it that both Kareena and Saif gave Ranbir some serious career advice. Kapoor Jr hasn’t had a single hit since Besharam (2013). The films that followed -- Roy, Bombay Velvet and Tamasha (all 2015) -- had failed and it’s becoming a cause of serious concern for those close to him. Ranbir’s last box-office success was Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013).

The actor now has two upcoming films -- Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos. The latter project has ensured that Ranbir stays in the news, though for personal reasons. He is paired opposite ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif in the film and their bitter break-up has affected the shoot as well.

The two try and avoid each other as much as possible. Recently, SpotboyE.com told you about the actors rehearsing separately for a dance sequence in the movie (Ranbir, Katrina rehearse separately for Jagga Jasoos song, August 1).

Earlier, there were reports of them using body doubles during the shoot in Morocco  (Did Ranbir-Katrina shoot with doubles in Morocco?, May 27).
