Karan Johar Unveils Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds Singapore With Mom By His Side
After Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar becomes another celebrity to have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds, Singapore. The filmmaker was accompanied by his mother Hiroo Johar. Well, let us tell you, KJo is the first Indian filmmaker whose statue has featured at Madame Tussauds wax museum, Singapore.

Elated Karan took to social media and shared his wax statue pictures on Instagram with a caption that read, “WAXED!!! At @mtssingapore #madametussauds !! What fun with my mom @hiroojohar and my family!!!!! @anushkaskhanna @priyankaskhanna #masi #payal and my surprise from friends who are too shy to be named!!!”

The official Instagram account of Madame Tussauds, Singapore, shared an update about the event and wrote, “Not a fan of coffee? But not with Karan Johar’s Koffee because he will definitely brew to perfection! Join us at the opening of Ultimate Film Star experience on April 4.”

While talking to Bombay Times about his latest achievement, Karan Johar said, “I remember visiting Madame Tussauds museum with my father (late filmmaker Yash Johar) when I was eight years old. I remember the feeling of awe and wonderment I had at that time. It feels like a childhood dream just got realised. Today, my statue will be a part of this prestigious museum and I am vastly excited and honoured. The fact that I can bring my babies (Roohi and Yash) one day to this museum, and they can see their father standing tall amongst so many illustrious and luminous personalities, is the most emotional feeling for me. Waxing eloquent is something I have attempted to do for many years now, but being waxed is an altogether different high.”
