Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Release In Mushkil?

Social media went abuzz with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s trailer which released this morning. But here’s bad news for the fans! The movie’s release seems to be in a Mushkil with MNS’ latest threat.

Citing the URI terror attacks, MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) has threatened Pakistani actors-Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar & Mahira Khan to leave India in 48 hours.

The threat came from Amey Khopkar of MNS Chitrapat Sena post the tensions between India and Pakistan when few terrorists killed 18 Army personnel at an Army camp in Uri,
Kashmir. India has blamed Pakistan for the attack. And now the Pakistani artists working in India are bearing the brunt.

Fawad Khan who made his debut in Bollywood with Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor in 2014, has a big Bollywood ticket at the moment amongst all other Pakistani actors. He will be seen in Karan Johar’s directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil- slated to release this Diwali on October 28, 2016 where he plays Anushka’s love interest.

But this isn’t going down too well with MNS. The party is strictly against any Pakistani artist working in India anymore. MNS is highly condemning Fawad Khan & Karan’s film.

Not just Fawad Khan, the list also includes Mahira Khan who is SRK’s leading lady in Raees. Interestingly, Mahira Khan was threatened by
Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (MNCKS) earlier in July 2015 as well, when her film Bin Roye was blacked out in Maharashtra.

With this latest development, it’s yet to be seen what action the Government or the film fraternity will take. Leave your comments to tell us how fair is it to ask Pakistani artists to leave India following the URI terror attack!
