Taking to his Instagram stories, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director penned a hilarious shayari for those who often mock him for being single. He expressed how he can live without a partner and wouldn’t have to face problems that people with partners do since he is currently single. Quoted by Bollywood Life, Karan wrote, “Ek saathi ke bina hojaye guzara, AC ka temperature nahi badlegi hamara. Nahi milegi mohobbat, na sahi. Separate bathroom ka compromise hoga hi nahi. Monogamy ka demand ghanta hoga poora. Zindagi aur options Kahan milte hain dobaara. Ab toh single status ko karlo celebrate. Anniversary se behtar hai ‘another date’.” ALSO READ: VIRAL! Talking about his love life, during an interview the 51-year-old filmmaker had explained how he had been in a one-sided love for many years. Quoted by Indian Express, he said, “I have had a bout of one-sided love, which I made Ae Dil Hai Mushkil from. It was my sad ektarfa pyaar, which lasted many years, but taught me the power of love itself. Which is there in the line that Shah Rukh says, ‘To love someone, you don’t need that person’. I believe that very strongly; love became my weapon. It empowered me, even though it broke my heart.” Johar went on to explain that he doesn’t need romantic love as he is surrounded by it through his kids and his mother.
