Karan Johar Congratulates Rana Daggubati And Team For Locking Haathi Mere Saathi's Release Date; Turns Off Comments Section
Karan Johar, who used to be extremely active on social media, distanced himself from the platforms after the backlash he received post the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. The filmmaker went off the radar and kept a low profile. However, now, slowly and steadily he is getting back to his social media game. He has been making a few tweets about his upcoming projects and more. Recently, he even congratulated the team of Haathi Mere Saathi starring Pulkit Samrat and Rana Daggubati. But, what called for attention is that he turned off the comments section.

Karan Johar tweeted, "Congratulations to the team of #haathimeresaathi ! Looks extremely exciting" along with the teaser of the film. It was recently that Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat and the team announced that they have blocked the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti 2021 to release their film in theatres. Following the announcement, Karan Johar sent in his congratulations to the team, but he did switch off the comments section so that trolls can keep bay.

In the past, many celebrities have turned off their comments sections or made it to limited. Stars like Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, and many more have done so in order to keep the trolls at distance. After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood came in the negative light with many accusing the industry of indulging in nepotism.

Talking about Haathi Mere Saathi, Rana made the announcement of its release date by sharing, "Life begins and the jungle roars #HaathiMereSaathi, in theatres on Makar Sankranti 2021 !!"
