The news took the people and media by storm, even more, because the singer travelled from London to Mumbai and then to Lucknow, before getting diagnosed. However, she soon had to face wrath on social media and was accused of hiding her travel history of the UK from the airport authorities in Lucknow which compelled them to slam her, calling her irresponsible. Now that Kanika is being discharged after recovering from Coronavirus, she broke her silence on being brutally slammed by people.

She took to her Instagram account and penned down a long letter, explaining her side of the story. Nevertheless, after receiving a lot of flak for Coronavirus, the singer now desires for ‘a warm smile, a warm heart and a warm cup of tea.’ She recently shared a picture of herself having a lovely time with her family in Lucknow where is in complete isolation.
