Kangana Ranaut Shares Pics Wearing ‘Ripped Jeans’; Says Young People Should Take Inspiration From Her And Not ‘Look Like A Homeless Beggar’
‘Women wearing ripped jeans’ sparked a debate on social media ever since Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat made an objectionable statement saying that women who wear ripped jeans set a ‘bad example’ for society and lead to substance abuse. Joining the debate, actor Kangana Ranaut who is often seen sharing her views and thoughts on her Twitter handle shared a tweet on the same, saying how young people should take inspiration from her on how to wear the jeans with style and not look like a homeless beggar.

The tweet was attached with some of her previous looks where she is seen wearing ripped jeans. She wrote, "If you want to wear ripped jeans make sure coolness quotient is of this magnitude as in these pics, so that it looks like your style not your state a homeless beggar who hasn’t got an allowance from parents this month, most young people look like that these days #RippedJeansTwitter” Her fans applauded her for her tweet as one said, “She is a perfect example of de-evolution in human beings” while another one wrote, “Adorable great brave lady love from #Pakistan keep shining for the betterment of #India”

Apart from Kangana, actor Gul Panag and Amitabh Bachchan’ granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda flaunted their ripped jeans with elan, hitting back at Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Tirath’s controversial statement.

For the unversed,  on Tuesday at a workshop organised by the Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Dehradun, Tirath expressed his apprehension towards bare knees being exposed and drew a parallel between the Indian and western culture. He also said that while the western world is following Indian tradition by opting for ‘yoga’ and ‘covering up’, Indians are running towards ‘nudity.’ ALSO READ: Amitabh Bachchan’s Granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda Exclaims ‘WTF’ On Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat’s Objectionable Comment On ‘Women Wearing Ripped Jeans’
