Kangana Ranaut Shames A Famous Choreographer For Saying, ‘Rape Kiya Toh Kya Hua, Roti Toh Di Na’
While replying to a user, Kangana Ranaut said once a famous choreographer said, ‘Rape kiya toh kya hua, roti to di naa’. Ranaut's answer came in after a twitter user said industry consists of many more people than a few actors and producers
This afternoon, Jaya Bachchan condemned Kangana Ranaut and BJP MP Ravi Kishan’s ‘drug-comment’ about the industry. While slamming Kangana, Jaya Bachchan said, people who have made their names in the industry have called it a ‘gutter’. She further requested Government to tell people to not use this kind of language for industry. She also said it is the same as a person from the Lok Sabha, who is also an actor who spoke against the industry.
Replying to Jaya Bachchan, Kangana got into a debate with some social media users. While replying to a user, Kangana mentioned a choreographer, who had earlier made a wrong statement about rape. Ranaut Tweeted, “Like a famous choreographer once said “ रेप किया तो क्या हुआ रोटी तो दी ना” is that what you implying? There are no proper HR departments in production houses where women can complain, no safety or insurances for those who risk their lives every day,no 8 hours shift regulations.”
Kangana’s replied to a user who tweeted, “फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री सिर्फ़ एक्टर्स डिरेक्टर्स और प्रोड्यूसर्स का नाम भर नहीं है। इसमें लाखों लाख छोटे कर्मचारी भी काम करते हैं। चंद 100-200 हीरो-हीरोइन की हरकतें पूरी इंडस्ट्री को बदनाम नहीं कर सकतीं। (Industry is not full of these names of actors and producers. It also employs millions of small employees. The actions of a few 100-200 hero-heroines cannot malign the entire industry.)”
