Kangana Ranaut Says She Was Misquoted; Didn't Lash Out At Saif’s 'No Concept Of India Before Britishers’ Statement
The makers of Panga hosted a press conference, last night. There Kangana Ranaut was asked if her comment on Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Bharat’ statement had been misinterpreted, she said, “Yes!”
Saif Ali Khan as been at the receiving end with his stance. It happened while speaking about playing a vicious character in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. He had said that he couldn’t take against a stand against it because he found it ‘delicious’. But it was his statement saying that there was no concept of India till perhaps the British gave it one that got his backlash and it wasn’t taken well by many. Kangana Ranaut too had slammed the Nawab Khan for saying the same. At the recent press con, when she was asked about Saif’s statement, she said she had asked, “If there was no Bharat then what was Mahabharat? What did Ved Vyasa write then?” And it made headlines in no time.

She then stated, “Like I said, unhone agar apna point of view diya toh main bhi apna poit of view rakha. Toh aisa kuch “khari-khoti sunaya” kuch zyada sensational hojati hai media. Lekin kahin naa kahin hamare desh mein ke jo readers hai unka taste bhi kuch aisa hi hai toh kya karein.. She further added, “Agar aap mujhse kuch sawaal poochte hain aur aap yeh apeksha rakhte hain ki jawab naa dein toh better hai. Waisa hai toh aap mujhse poochiye hi mat. Mujhse sawaal poocha hain toh mein toh jawab dungi hi.”
Well, we hope this gets down well the Saif.
