Kangana Ranaut’s Team Says Taapsee Pannu Never Gave A Solo Hit, Cites Examples Of Mission Mangal, Badla Being Male-Dominated Films
The war of words between Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu has only been escalating ever since Kangana called Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker ‘B-Grade actresses’ two days ago, in an interview with Republic TV. Kangana had questioned that if they love Karan Johar, and are better looking as well as better actresses than Alia Bhatt and Ananya Panday, why are they not getting work. Taapsee, in an interview with Hindustan Times, hit back at each accusation leveled against her and said that she has been getting enough work, and has five announced films right now.

Soon, people on Twitter took sides, and while many supported Kangana, a lot of them including journalist Faye D’Souza, writer Kanika Dhillon shared appreciation posts for Taapsee. Kanika Dhillon wrote, “Attagirl! @taapsee... N not to forget... as per recent articles in public domain-n I quote “her last 5 releases made 352 cr’ at the box-office- stating her as d Most successful n highest-grossing actress of Hindi film industry last year!” Well, take a bow! so proud o u!”. replying to which Taapsee tweeted, “I guess that’s what qualified me for B grade :).”

A social media user commented on Taapsee’s tweet saying that none of the films were earning money because of her and called her a ‘sidekick to nepo stars.’ Replying to this, team Kangana Ranaut also said that Taapsee never gave a solo hit in her career and that Mission Mangal and Badla were male-dominated films. The tweet shared by Kangana Ranaut’s team read, “MissionM or Badla they are male-dominated films, @taapseenever gave a solo hit in her whole life @KanikaDhillon n whole left ecosystem trying to cover up the murder of SSR who complained about nepotism n Bullying shame on you all no one defended him but defending his murders now.”

Meanwhile, Swara Bhasker also reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s B’Grade actress remark. She tweeted, “ -Needy outsider- B grade actress(But) - better looking & better actor than Alia Bhatt & Ananya!” Net I think this was a compliment! Thanks, Kangana! I think u are gorgeous, generous & a great actor! Shine on #KanganaSpeaksToArnab #Nepotism  @KanganaTeam”.
