In a statement, the federal home ministry said, “This was a major lapse in the security of the PM.” Now, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has reacted to this.

Taking to her Instagram story, the Queen actress expressed her thoughts on PM Modi's security lapse and called it 'shameful'. She said it’s an "attack on every Indian and on our democracy". Kangana wrote,  “What happened in Punjab is shameful, Honourable Prime Minister is democratically elected leader/representative/voice of 1.4 billion people, an attack on him is an attack on every single Indian… it is an attack on our democracy itself, Punjab is becoming a hub for terroristic activities if we don’t stop them now nation will have to pay a big price #bharatstandswithm.”

There was no security lapse during the PM's visit.”
