Kangana Ranaut Gets Into Heated Argument With A Journalist Over Asking A Question On Deepika Padukone's Feud With Freddy Birdy: 'Sit Down'

There are Bollywood celebrities and then there is Kangana Ranaut who is known more for her outspoken and blunt image than her films. She definitely knows how to make headlines with her controversial remarks. And, Again Kangana is making news, this time for her verbal spat with a journalist. During a press conference of her new reality show ‘Lock Upp: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel', Kangana was asked a question about Deepika Padukone’s feud with influencer Freddy Birdy.

During the interactive session at the event, when a correspondent asked Kangana about her views on the influencer shaming Deepika for her outfit, Kangana lambast at the reporter with a displeasing answer and asked her to sit down.

According to a report in Bollywood life.com, 'Definitely not pleased with the question', Kangana said, “Look, I am here to defend those who can’t defend themselves. Alright? She can defend herself. She has the privilege, the platform and I can’t promote her film here. Sit down.”

After Kangana’s statement, when the journalist tried to explain to her that she wasn’t promoting the film, the Queen actress hit back at the journalist saying, “Of course, you named the film. You are also naming a film which is coming. Obviously, you are being planted by the PRs of the film, Arre yaar, hum itne bhi toh nadaan nahi hai na. Do it outside, I will engage with you for 45 minutes.”

For the unversed, the dispute between influencer Freddy Birdy and Deepika started when the former took a dig at the fashion choices of the actresses for ‘Gehraiyaan’ promotions.
