Kangana Ranaut Donates 42 Lakh For Cauvery Calling Campaign, Pledges 1 Lakh Trees For Plantation

Kangana Ranaut donated 42 lakh for Cauvery calling campaign today morning here in Mumbai. During a press conference, she spoke about setting an example for the upcoming generation by planting trees and hence donated a huge amount to plant 1 lakh saplings on the Cauvery Basin

Kangana Ranaut is back in news, thankfully this time there is no controversy. The actress has come forward to support one of the major causes in India. The actress has donated Rs. 42 lakh to Isha Foundation urging to plant more and more trees for the betterment of the depleting environmental condition and our water reserves. Joining this initiative are two more actresses Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah Bhatia.  This huge sum will help the said foundation to plant around 1 lakh saplings on the Cauvery basin.


By giving a helping hand, she also urged commoners at least join this initiative as per their capacities. During the press conference she also said that one can't expect much help coming from the under-privileged people, but at least the ones who can, should donate 2 saplings. This gesture can too get a huge change in the environment. This initiative will also set an example for the coming generation, about the society is coming together to save the environment.


During her media interaction, she also mentioned about being shocked with Amazon forest being on fire and Aarey trees to go under the axe. She was heard saying, "When I hear things about Amazon being on fire and Aarey trees being cut, I really get panicked but I don’t want everyone to get panic attack about that. Instead, we should do our bit and donate to plant trees so that we can solve an existing problem."

After Judgementall Hai Kya, the actress will be seen in Panga, Thalaivi and Dhaakad in the upcoming year.
