This morning, Kangana Ranaut left for Mumbai from her hometown in Himachal Pradesh. The actress tested negative for Coronavirus and only then headed to Mumbai. As Kangana was on the way, BMC started demolishing parts of her office in Pali Hill, Bandra, for ‘structural violation’. Soon after, Kangana Ranaut shared back to back tweets, using the hashtag ‘Death of Democracy’. Kangana’s lawyer moved High Court and filed a plea against the demolition drive by BMC. Now, the Bombay High Court has ordered a stay on the demolition drive, instructing BMC to put the demolition on hold.
According to ANI, Kangana Ranaut's lawyer filed a plea in High Court against the demolition drive by BMC at the actress’ property and the hearing was to take place at 12.30 pm today. Now, latest reports suggest that Bombay High Court has asked BMC to put the demolition on hold. According to Times Now, Bombay High Court ordered a stay on the demolition drive by BMC at Kangana's office in Mumbai.
