Kangana Ranaut INJURES Foot On Manikarika Sets, Wheeled Out Of Mumbai Airport

Kangana Ranaut is back in the town post injuring her foot.  A while ago, the actress was snapped at the Mumbai airport on the wheelchair and was seen waving out to the shutterbugs.


The actress was shooting for her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi at Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur.

While performing a stunt, the actress sprained her foot and was rushed to a private hospital.

Kangana Ranaut  Was Injured While Filming An Action Scene

“Kangana had a sprain in her right foot but there was no fracture. We applied a plaster cast and she was advised a week’s rest,” said Dr Narendra Yadav of Goyal Hospital, Jodhpur to a newspaper. She was discharged around 2 am on Wednesday and left for Mumbai in the afternoon to recover from the injury.

As per reports the Queen actress was shooting a scene where she had to jump off wall. While attempting the scene she fell on the ground and was injured.


This is not the first time that the actress has got injured, on the sets of the Zee Studios’ Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Prior to this, she had got 15 stitches on her forehead while shooting an intense sword fighting scene with her co-star Nihar Pandya and started bleeding.

A unit hand informed popular tabloid, "Kangana was immediately rushed to Apollo hospital nearby, where she was admitted to the ICCU. She got 15 stitches on her forehead and will be under observation in the hospital for a few days. The examining doctor said that it was a close shave for her because the cut was too close to her bone."
