Kabir Singh Inspired TikTok Star Kills A Girl; Sandeep Reddy Vanga Says ‘My Films Don’t Endorse Murder’
In some really unfortunate news, TikTok star Ashwani Kumar has reportedly killed a flight attendant after getting inspired by Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is sorry but says, his film does not endorse murder
Once again, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh in the limelight but for bad reasons. Recently, the news of a Tik Tok star Ashwani Kumar murdering a flight attendant took the nation by storm and the reason behind this hideous crime was Kabir Singh. It is said that Kumar, who is usually known for mimicking villains, was inspired by Kabir Singh’s one single dialogue, “Jo mera nahi ho saka use kisi aur ke honeka mauka nahi dunga” and this led to a murder.
Apparently, Kumar was obsessed with a flight attendant named Nikita Sharma and when he got to know that she is going to marry someone else, Kumar murdered the girl. But before getting arrested by the cops, he committed suicide. However, now the news has reached to the director of the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacted to the same and was quoted saying that he feels sorry for the girl and the family who had to go through this mishap. He told Mid-Day, “I feel sorry for the girl and her family. It is unfortunate that people have lost their lives.”
Reddy was also further quoted by the tabloid saying that his films do not endorse murder, not even Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy. He said, “As filmmakers, we are responsible for our craft and need to consider the repercussions, but never have my films [endorsed] killing anyone. Kabir Singh or even Arjun Reddy [the Telugu original] never [supported] murder.”
The report also said that the murderer needs psychological help and he was already a ‘wanted’ person in Uttar Pradesh as he had murdered 3 people. After he committed suicide, Bijnor police investigated that Kumar was highly impressed by Kabir Singh and he has also posted images and dialogues from the film at his place.
Well, now we wonder what the Twitteratis will react to this.
