Shah Rukh Khan’s one of the most loved and appreciated 1994 released ‘Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa’ completed 28 years of its release on 25th February. It is by far one of the most loved films of King Khan owing to the actor’s brilliant performance. The romantic comedy which was directed by Kundan Shah also starred Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Deepak Tijori, and Naseeruddin Shah in the key roles. On its completion of 28 years, Deepak Tijori in an interview revealed how because of the film's unconventional ending, Shah Rukh Khan's fans abused him.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Deepak recalled that fans of SRK abused him for the ending. The actor was quoted as saying, "Some people who were big fans of Shah Rukh abused the hell out of me! They complained, ‘Saala, isko kyun mil gayi ladki’."


Adding further and explaining the climax of the movie, Deepak shared Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa was the story of a loser. "I guess it was rightly placed as a zero-to-hero film. And of course, Shah Rukh Khan gets a bigger star in the end that is Juhi Chawla! Toh kuch haath se jaata hai tab takleef hoti hai,” he added. Deepak also talked about the bond everyone shared while shooting for the film in Goa.


Earlier, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi also got nostalgic and shared a still from the movie on Twitter. She tweeted, “Thanks for all the love. Always”.

Remembering Shah Rukh’s iconic film, fans also celebrated the milestone and shared their memories attached to the film on Twitter with the hashtag #28YearsofKHKN. One user wrote, "Sunil from Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is an emotion. Such a relatable character. We all have had failures in love, we can feel what Sunil while another netizen said, “Wow it's 28 years of now of my most favorite movie kabhi haan kabhi naa beautiful fantastic and greatest performance by Shahrukh Khan and lovely story and songs are amazing.”


For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan bagged the Best Actor Critics award for the film at the 39th Filmfare Awards.
