Sushant Singh Rajput who died by suicide on June 14 left the entire in the state of shock and it was one of the biggest loss this year. However, after his death, social media users started blaming some of the biggies in Bollywood as well as expressed their rage and their views on nepotism. Speaking about the same Jimmy Sheirgill said that everything is being taken to a different tangent altogether. While talking to Zoom, the Tanu Weds Manu actor expressed his views about social media outrage that happened after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise.
He was quoted saying, “It is happening everywhere in the world. Whatever happens, people start making up something to keep themselves busy. I don't know how to say it but everything is being taken to a different tangent altogether. Things are happening, but I haven't been the reacting kind of person. I would feel stupid doing the same.” He also took a jibe at the social media users who were concern about who is commenting and who is posting what as he said, “The thing is that it is sad that a big tragedy has happened, it is a big loss to the family but at the same time people are concerned about who is commenting and who is posting what.”
He also quipped saying, “Instead of holding each other's hands and saying that 'God we have had enough of this' and asking for forgiveness, we are blaming things on people. People might have had their differences but who are you to question or to judge. You shouldn't be concerned about blaming others. A sad thing has happened to a young boy who had a great future ahead of him, who was doing so well. Everyone is shocked and everyone is trying to spin their own tale around it.”
Sheirgill had shared a tweet on Rajput after learning about his death, “Shocked ..saddened .. not an age to go ..not a way to go .. tragic .. #ripsushantsinghrajput,” his tweet read.
