After a
headline-grabbing spat last year, Karan Johar and Kajol are back to being
buddies again. The Fanaa star was spotted at Hiroo Johar’s 75th birthday
bash today and she went ga-ga about it on social media.

Talking about
Kajol and Karan Johar’s friendship, the two had been friends since the longest
time. However, last year their friendship hit rock bottom after Ajay Devgn
releasing a tape in which it was said that Karan had paid Kamaal R Khan to run
down Shivaay which clashed with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Karan, who
initially maintained a stoic silence on the subject did not deny when prodded,
and simply stated, “My self-respect, reputation, company reputation, upbringing
doesn’t allow me to dignify this question with a response.”

Post this, Karan and Kajol were not on talking terms. Karan in his autobiography An Unsuitable Boy followed it up by declaring that Kajol and he are no longer friends. In fact, Karan dedicated an entire chapter on Kajol and wrote, “I don’t have a relationship with Kajol anymore.” Pages after pages he mentioned on how things turned sour between him and Kajol.
The duo followed
it up by speaking a lot against each other, sometimes direct and sometimes
indirect. However, last year on Friendship’s Day, Karan extended an olive
branch and started following Kajol on the social media. Kajol responded by
liking Karan's twins Yash and Roohi’s picture and soon followed him on the
social media.
Must say that their friendship has stood the test of time and we are glad!
