Jaya Bachchan REACTS To Being A ‘Meme-Generator’; Says, ‘People Who Are Doing The Memes Are So Bad, They Should Do It Properly’
After a successful season 1, Bollywood veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda is back with season 2 of her podcast What The Hell Navya. The first episode of the show aired on February 1, where she, the veteran actress and herb mother Shweta Bachchan spoke about working women. While discussing each other endeavours in the past year, Navya shed light on her grandmother’s ‘side hustle’ as a meme generator. Even the veteran actress reacted to her being labelled as a pop culture phenomenon.

In the episode that was released on Thursday, Navya asked the 75-year-old veteran actress about her feelings regarding her status as a pop culture phenomenon. In a witty response, she shared that she doesn’t mind people laughing at her or making fun of her. But she has one complaint, that the netizens who make memes on her don’t do it properly. Quoted by Pinkvilla, she said, “I mean, I don't mind. People making fun of you or laughing at you, I don't mind that. But the people who are doing the memes are so bad, they should do it properly.” ALSO READ: Suhana Khan Meets Up With Her BFFs Ananya Panday, Navya Naveli Nanda For A Dinner Date; Fans Go Gaga As Videos Go Viral

Further in the episode, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress inquired about her granddaughter’s interest. Navya went on to explain the concept of side hustle and emphasised how today, individuals often pursue additional ventures apart from their primary occupations to supplement their income. Acknowledging Jaya Bachchan’s side hustle, Shweta referred to her mother as an internet sensation and a meme-generator. Navya spoke about ‘Jaya-ing,’ a term coined for her grandmother’s memes.
