Jawan Trailer OUT! Shah Rukh Khan Looks Notoriously Menacing And Melodramatic In Atlee’s Mass Entertainer-WATCH
Shah Rukh Khan stirred up a storm on Thursday as he dropped the trailer of his upcoming film a day after a grand pre-release event in Chennai that saw members of the film’s cast and crew congregate before a sea of fans to talk about the movie.  The film is touted to be a commercial entertainer and features SRK portraying a range of emotions.

Interestingly, Jawan features Shah Rukh Khan in a slew of avatars, and it combines elements of vigilante thrillers and masala entertainers.

Jawan is already touted to be a blockbuster as the trailer appears to be a massy South Indian-inspired film, with a diverse range of tones that can be melodramatic at one moment, and gruesomely violent in the next. The film also seems to be based on multiple timelines, with Shah Rukh appearing as a soldier in one plotline, and a vigilante who inspires the public’s support in another.

Nayanthara, on the other hand, plays a cop, who has been tasked with tracking down the vigilante, but she also plays the romantic interest of a different version of the central character.

Well, the question is, will Shah Rukh Khan play multiple personalities in the film? At least, that’s what the poster tells us.

In a dialogue that is bound to find resonance with SRK fans, the actor announces, “Bete ko haath lagane se pehle baap se baat kar (Before touching the son, talk to his father).”

Shah Rukh Khan dropped the trailer on his Instagram handle as he wrote, “Of Justice & A Jawan. Of Women & their Vengeance. Of a Mother & A Son. And of course, a lot of Fun!!! Ready Ahhh!!! #JawanTrailer out now! #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu (sic).”

Originally, Jawan was slated to release in June, but the film was delayed to buy more time for post-production. The film also marks Shah Rukh’s first major attempt at pan-Indian success, after the 2015 hit Chennai Express.
