On June 1, we lost one of the talented musicians of the Indian film industry- Wajid Khan. The music composer passed away at a Mumbai hospital at 42. The composer who had some popular songs to his list, had collaborated with Javed Ali for many songs. Recently, we spoke to the famous singer for an exclusive interview, and he spoke about the late music composer. 

Javed Ali said, "It is a very big loss. And filling this is impossible. Nobody can take his place. Sajid Bhai and Wajid Bhai ki bonding bhaut zabardast thi. And whenever I have sung for them, our combination created some amazing results. I don't even know how things will go ahead without him." 

He further  added, "The last song I did as playback singer was for them in Dabangg 3 'Naina Lade' under their composition. In fact, after that also I recorded two songs for them among which one was for COVID-19 'Tere Saath Hain Hum' and one single for Eid, 'Eid Mubarak'. So, the last song Sajid-Wajid put together as music composer was my song."

We spoke to him about Wajid's health too and he said, "He was unwell for a long time but he was active in his work. Sajid Bhai used to coordinate everything but he used to equally participate in the whole making."

Meanwhile, Javed Ali will be again seen sitting on the judges panel of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs season 8 along with Alka Yagnik and Himesh Reshammiya. After UditNarayan and Kumar Sanu opted out from the show due to prior commitments, the channel decided to get them on board.  The two have been a part of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa legacy for several years now. In fact, both the singing sensations were a part of the longest running 8 month season of Li'l Champs, the No 1 talent-based reality season of the year 2017.
