Jannat Director Survives The Nepal Earthquake

Director Kunal Deshmukh (Jannat, Tum Mile, Jannat 2, Raja Natwarlal) had a nightmarish experience yesterday when a major earthquake struck Nepal near its capital, Kathmandu, killing more than 1,900 people.
Deshmukh was in Kathmandu to attend a friend's wedding.
The industry was agog with rumours yesterday evening that Deshmukh is untraceable. We tried to reach him last night but failed.
This morning, Deshmukh sent us a text: "I am stuck here. Trying to get back."
Around noon, we again got in touch with Deshmukh, who said: "I have had a terrible time. The earthquake was very scary."
Added Deshmukh, "I am at the airport. I hope to fly out from here soon."
