Khushi and Boney Kapoor immersed the late Sridevi’s ashes in holy waters at
Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, yesterday.
The Kapoors took a special flight to the
pilgrimage town of Rameswaram on March 3, a source told PTI.
In the picture Boney Kapoor can be seen with an
urn that holds the ashes of Bollywood superstar Sridevi, his late wife.
The ashes were immersed at Dhanushkodi in
Rameswaram. Dhanushkodi marks the confluence of the Indian Ocean and The Bay Of
Bengal and has a special place in Hindu mythology and scripture.
Sridevi, 54, died on February 24 in a Dubai
hotel. The veteran actress was attending Mohit Marwah’s wedding with her
husband Boney and daughter Khushi Kapoor in Dubai.
