Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's produced film ‘Dhadak’ amidst high expectations from people. The actress had the pressure to deliver a power-packed performance in her maiden film since her late mother Sridevi was a legendary actress. Janhvi often faces sharp criticism whenever she is compared with Sridevi. In a recent interview, Boney Kapoor’s daughter asserted comparisons are bound to happen and that she does not get offended when people compare her to her mom.

In an interview with Subhash K. Jha, Janhvi was quoted as saying, “Why would I want the comparisons to stop? Why would I be offended by being compared with my mom? I am being compared with the best. So they are holding me to the best possible standards. It’s like reaching to the stars. At least I can aim for the sky. I think I am flattered.” ALSO READ: AWW!
