Janhvi Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's Roohi Afza Undergoes Name Change AGAIN; Film Will Now Be Titled THIS
Janhvi Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Roohi Afza, which was earlier titled Rooh Afza, has undergone another title change. Dinesh Vijan’s film will now be called Roohi Afzana
From Rooh Afza to Roohi Afza now Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer will now be called Roohi Afzana. The film has gone another under title change. However, the changed name of the film was not officially announced by the makers on their social media handles. It was when they put a compilation video of all the films that Maddock is all set to entertain their fans with in 2020. While flashing a still of Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma what caught our eyes was the name of the film, which was Roohi Afzana.
Roohi Afzana, which was earlier titled Roohi Afza, is one of the highly- anticipated films this year. It is touted to be mystery-comedy and is being helmed by Hardik Mehta. Reportedly, the film revolves around the spirit of a man who abducts brides on their honeymoon. After witnessing Rao’s surprising performance in Stree, we are sure his fans can’t wait to watch him winning another horror-comedy film. Meanwhile, Maddock will bring Imtiaz Ali’s next starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan in February, Angrezi Medium starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Irrfan, Radhika Madan in March, Roohi Afzana in April, Mimi starring Kriti Sanon in July, Shiddat starring Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty in September.
On the work front, Raj has quite a few interesting projects like Ludo by Anurag Basu, Chhalaag by Hansal Mehta, Netflix original The White Tiger with Priyanka Chopra lined up in 2020. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor started the year with her Netflix film Ghost Stories, which has 4 stories by Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Karan Johar.
Janhvi will deliver her 2nd film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl in March 2020, followed by Roohi Afzana in April, Takht, Dostana 2 among other projects.
