With the entire nation is jostled over the violent protest that has been happening in Delhi’s Jami Millia Islamia University, there have been many students and universities across the country that erupted into angry protests against the violence taking place and also for the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill that was turned into an act. As millions of Indian citizens hit the streets, several Bollywood celebrities such as Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Javed Akhtar and others also condemned the violent protests.
While the younger stars of Bollywood spoke up about it, some of the extremely big names in Bollywood have chosen to maintain a stoic silence against the matter. Say something @iamsrk you are from Jamia too. Who has made you so quiet? #IStandWithJamiaMilliaStudents

It’s a scandal that @iamsrk has not offered one word of support to his Alma Mater. Since we know that you’re not out of sympathy with them, we have to conclude that you’re terrified of this government, which should be terrifying for the rest of us.
