IT’S OFFICIAL: Karisma Kapoor’s Ex-Husband, Sunjay Kapoor MARRIES Priya Sachdev

The ceremony was quietly solemnized but it has FINALLY happened! Screaming from the roof top is Priya Sachdev’s sister Charu Sachdev, who posted a picture of her sister and brother-in-law, Priya Sachdev and Sunjay Kapoor on social media.

A few weeks back, SpotboyE.com told you that the duo will is planning to take their relationship to the next level and are set to tie the knot. We had also made a call to Priya Sachdev (former wife of an NY hotelier Vikram Chatwal) at that time and without denying she had said, “No comments” and hung up the phone immediately.

And now here they are! Sunjay married his ladylove Priya in a very small ceremony in New Delhi last evening. It was registered marriage as the couple did not want to attract any attention after Kapur’s much publicised divorce with Karisma.

Reportedly, the registered ceremony will be followed by a reception in New York. Sunjay and Priya met in New York and the grapevine says that the two dated each other for over 5 years. Priya stood by Sunjay through his troubled marriage and the divorce proceedings.

Karisma and Sunjay were granted divorce last year in June by a family court in Mumbai. Sunjay had argued in court that the actress had failed as a wife, mother and daughter-in-law, and that she had married him only for money. The actress had shot back to file a domestic violence case against Sunjay and his mother. The divorce which would have otherwise come in 2014 came about two years later.

What came out of the divorce? Well, Rs 10 crore trust in the name of the kids and her duplex residence remained in Karisma’a name. The expenses of the kids in terms of education and other things are borne by Sunjay. Karisma had been allowed to keep not only her jewellery but also the jewellery given to her by Sunjay and his family at the time of their marriage.

As of today, both parties have moved on. While Karisma Kapoor is dating Sandeep Toshniwal, Sunjay Kapoor too has started his married life afresh with Priya Sachdev.
