Is Rohit Roy Directing Priyanka Chopra & Abhishek Bachchan In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Next?

Priyanka Chopra’s recent trip to Mumbai saw her meeting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and soon enough the grapevine was abuzz with rumours that her next Bollywood project will be a SLB production.

And at the same time, Rohit Roy, who was last seen as an antagonist in Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil, signed a three-film-deal with Bhansali to direct three films for his banner.

And it looks like these two developments are related to the same film.

SpotboyE got in touch with Rohit to confirm whether he will indeed be directing Priyanka and Abhishek.

“I can’t confirm anything, when the right time will come, the project will be announced. You will have to wait for the right time,” said Rohit.

Reportedly, Rohit recently met Abhishek for the film’s narration.

Earlier, when Priyanka was questioned about collaborating with the Bajirao Mastani filmmaker, this is what she had to say:“ Yes I am meeting Sanjay sir and we always discuss work and he is someone I would work with all my life till the time he wants to work with me. I am his eternal fan. Every time we discuss a film but we have to still figure out which one will it be. I haven’t given my commitment to any Bollywood film yet. I am not someone who says no to Sanjay sir.”

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently busy shooting his magnum opus Padmavati,  starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor while Priyanka has flown back to the US.
