Irrfan Khan’s son Babil took to his Instagram account to share a throwback picture of Irrfan Khan with megastar Amitabh Bachchan from the sets of Piku. Babil wrote that he wishes to work with Big B
Irrfan Khan’s son Babil is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the Netflix film Qala, which stars Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee. The film is produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma's production house, Clean Slate Filmz. A few days ago, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter account to share the teaser of Qala, and wrote that it looked quite different. Babil was delighted to see that Amitabh Bachchan had praised the teaser of Qala. Now, in a post, he shared a throwback picture of Irrfan Khan with Big B, and expressed his desire to work with the megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan worked together in the film Piku, which also starred Deepika Padukone. Babil took to his Instagram to share a throwback picture of his father with Amitabh Bachchan from the sets of Piku. The picture shows the two actors hugging each other. In his caption, Babil wrote that he will make Irrfan Khan’s fans proud through his infinite patience and hard work. He also wrote how he wishes to work with Amitabh Bachchan one day. “I get hurt easy and then I throw a tantrum and then I realise that Baba’s fans are full of kindness and warmth so let’s ignore the hate. One day, when I’m capable, through infinite patience and hard work, I will make Baba’s fans proud. I love you. (And one day to work with you sir @amitabhbachchan),” wrote Babil.
Recently, Babil wrote why he stopped sharing his father Irrfan Khan’s memories on Instagram. He wrote that he gets messages saying that he uses Irrfan Khan to promote himself, and how hurtful that is when he genuinely shares those memories to fill up the void left in his fans.
“I loved sharing and then I get these Dms all the time saying that I'm using him to promote myself and that really hurts when in fact I was genuinely sharing memories to fill up the void that he left in his fans. So I'm so confused on what to do,” wrote Babil. He also added that while he is hurt, he will share Irrfan Khan’s memories when he feels like it is the right time.
