As the nation was coming to terms with Irrfan Khan’s death, the nation woke up to another tragic news of Rishi Kapoor passing away today in the morning. Irrfan Khan was battling with a rare cancer Neuroendocrine Tumor while Rishi Kapoor was fighting out with leukaemia for almost 2 years before he lost the battle. With both of the demise, people are grieving and are completely heartbroken to see two of the finest actors in Bollywood leaving the world. As people were in despair, several movie lovers began sharing scenes and stills of Rishi and Irrfan from their movie D-Day.

That’s not it, they have also started trending a hashtag called "#RIPLegends" on the social media platform. The scene in question is from D-Day when the duo is seen seated in a car together which is going viral online. In the scene, the two are not seen interacting with each other but watching the two stars in the same frame is leaving fans shattered and anguished.

Many fans started flooding the same clip on social media where one user commented, “We lost two finest artists within two days. Rishi Kapoor sir & Irrfan Khan sir will be remembered forever! Rest in peace legends #RishiKapoor #IrrfanKhan,” while another one commented, “We lost 2 versatile actors in span of less then 24 hrs.Broken heart 2020 seems to be the worst year. After his death, an official statement was released, titled ‘A message from Rishi Kapoor’s family’ which read, “Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last. He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents.”

Meanwhile, post his cancer treatment, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in Emraan Hashmi’s The Body and had recently announced his next project, a remake of Hollywood film The Intern, also featuring Deepika Padukone.
