In the fifth match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2021 of Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders, MI defeated KKR by 10 wickets in IPL 2021 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In pursuit of a 153-run target, KKR were able to score 142 for 7 in 20 overs. However, KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan is not happy with their performance and thought that he owed an apology to all the fans who were looking forward to seeing KKR win. Right after the match concluded, SRK took to his Twitter handle to share his apology note for KKR’s ‘disappointing performance’.

Shah Rukh always keeps sharing his views after every match of KKR, this time, he wrote, “Disappointing performance. to say the least  @KKRiders   apologies to all the fans!” Among many, a fan reacted to his tweet by saying, “Dil toot gya mera Isliye ni k haar gye .. blke isliye q k jita hua match jaan bujh k haar gai 15 over mein jo match finish krne wale the pta ni q MI ko de diya” while another one explained why the actor is pissed with their performance, “No. Players should have played more carefully nah. That was a win win situation for kkr but at last, they lost the game. That's why he's a bit pissed off also.” Some thought it was a fixed match.

Meanwhile, in the second match of IPL, KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad and won by 10 runs. Plus, this is not the last game that KKR will play in this season of IPL. SRK’s team will next play with Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings and more in the coming matches.
