Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the frontline warriors including doctors, nurses, healthcare staff have played a crucial role in the global fight against COVID-19. Putting their lives at risk on a daily basis, the healthcare workers have been relentlessly working to save lives. Now, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has penned a tribute to the nurses, on the occasion of International Nurses Day. He penned words of encouragement, and thanked them for their undying spirit to fight COVID-19 despite the challenging times.
Abhishek Bachchan took to his Instagram account to laud the nurses for their immense contribution amid the COVID-19 pandemic. He posted a video that included quotes by various nurses, wherein they mention the challenges that they have been going through. One of the nurses reveals that she only saw her newborn daughter once in person owing to the work schedule. Apart from the video, Abhishek Bachchan wrote in his note that the nurses have been risking their own lives to protect their patients.
“The nurses have kept humanity above everything else working long hours & risking their lives to protect their patients. This #InternationalNursesDay I salute their relentless efforts & their undying spirit to fight Covid-19. We'll always be indebted to you all,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in the film The Big Bull. He will be seen in Dadvi next, which also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in the lead roles.
