Sridevi's last
stint on the big screen was Mom. Her performance was critically acclaimed and
the movie performed averagely at the box-office.
A few days back, we told you that the US based digital entertainment giant, Netflix, is in talks with Sridevi for a web series, possibly Sacred Games starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte. Sridevi met Swati Shetty, a producer for Netflix, to discuss a few collaborations. And if everything goes well, Sridevi may soon be making her digital debut.However, it’s yet not certain if the project in question is Sacred Games or a new one altogether.
Other than Netflix, Sridevi is also reportedly in talks
to star in Baahubali director SS Rajamouli’s next. Buzz was, Rajamouli’s next will star Malayalam
superstar Mohanlal and he will be seen with Sridevi in the film. It will reportedly be set in the current times and deal
with real life struggles and situations. The makers of Baahubali had
approached Sridevi for the role of Rajmata Shivagami, which was later played by
Ramya Krishnan.
