IMPPA Bans Pakistani Artistes

The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has now decided not to work with Pakistani artistes until peace returns between India and Pakistan.

The IMPPA has taken this step, this evening.

This has come in the wake of the Uri attack and the subsequent tension over Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan's upcoming films- Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees respectively.

The river is clearly changing its course.

Not too long ago, Raahat Fateh Ali Khan lost out a film (MNS Effect: Pakistani Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Thrown Out Of A Film, Sep 28) which is incidentally being produced by IMPPA President T P Aggarwal, and Atif Aslam's concert was called off in Gurgaon (Atif Aslam's concert gets cancelled in Gurgaon, Sep 29).
