Get ready for an amazing night as IIFA hosts Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana are practicing their finest lines for a side-splitting act
IIFA 2019 is here to rock the year as it's a homecoming for IIFA this year which is being in Mumbai, post it's Nepal event got cancelled at the last minute. This year we are going to see several likes of Bollywood stars including Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, to name a few, sizzling the award night. But what's a banging award night with some amazing hosts. It seems incomplete, right? Well, to fill this position, here's presenting Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana as your hosts for IIFA!
Taking it to his Instagram handle, Ayushmann shared a few photos where he is seen rehearsing his lines with his 'super sibling' Aparshakti. His caption reads, "Your hosts for the iifa awards! Hosting with my super sibling @aparshakti_khurana #iifa @iifa" Here's the photo below:
This is not the first time where we will be seeing Khurrana Brothers taking over the stage. We have seen their hosting skills before in Zee Cine Awards and hence, we can't wait to see their quirky antics onstage. Are you guys ready for the same?
Before the main event, IIFA also has IIFA Rocks that was held on Monday in Mumbai. The event saw a host of performances in Neha Kakkar, Amit Trivedi, Tulsi Kumar, Jassie Gill, Salim-Sulaiman, Neha Kakkar, B Praak. Fashion designers Shantanu & Nikhil and Kunal Rawal will display their latest creations. The main event which is the IIFA Awards 2019 will take place on September 18. The event marks its 20th edition and has announced five special awards, the nominees for which would include all winners over the last 19 years.
We have already reported you guys about the nominations for IIFA Awards 2019 which was revealed recently. To give the crux of it, Andhadhun is leading the way with maximum nominations in the 20th edition of International Indian Film Academy Awards. Followed by Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal's Raazi and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat and Andhadhun are with 10 nominations each. While Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju received nominations in seven categories and Badhaai Ho is nominated in six categories.
