I'm Gonna Tear You Apart: John Abraham Threatens A Journalist Who Accused Him Of Doing Repetitive Action Roles At Veda Trailer Launch - WATCH
Bollywood actor John Abraham is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated action film "Vedaa," co-starring Sharvari Wagh. The trailer for the film was unveiled on Thursday, August 1. However, during the trailer launch event, a tense moment arose when a journalist questioned Abraham about his tendency to take on similar roles in action films. The journalist's question was straightforward: "The trailer of 'Vedaa' is amazing. We have seen 'Pathaan' and 'Satyamev Jayate 2' doing great business. It seems you are doing the same kind of roles, focusing on action films. Why are you doing the same kind of films? Can't you bring something new?" While most people in the room found the question amusing, John Abraham did not. He responded heatedly, questioning whether the journalist had seen the film or only the trailer. "Have you seen the film? You've just watched the trailer. Watch the film first, then talk about it," he retorted.

The journalist defended his question by stating that the trailer usually gives a good idea of what the film is about and that it seemed action-centric. Abraham responded, "This is a very intense performance that I have done. You've seen the trailer, not the film. Watch it first and then say anything. If it feels the same, then I will answer all your questions. And if you are wrong, I'm going to turn you out and tear you apart." Additionally, before the trailer launch, another video featuring Abraham went viral. In this clip, he is seen sitting on the stage floor, warning the paparazzi not to record him and stating, "Let me breathe, do not record anything. I have seen everybody's face and 'mere saath koi controversy nahi.'" Vedaa, directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment, also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles. The film is set to release on August 15, 2024. Its release date will see it compete with other major films, including Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, and "Khel Khel Mein," featuring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and Vaani Kapoor.

The clash of release dates adds an extra layer of excitement to the film's launch, as audiences will have multiple high-profile films to choose from. Despite the controversy at the trailer launch, John Abraham's Vedaa promises to deliver the intense action and powerful performances that fans have come to expect from the actor.
