Vikas Bahl, who was accused of sexual misconduct by an employee of Phantom, was granted clean chit after an internal inquiry by Reliance Entertainment, which held a 50% stake in Phantom. Bahl was cleared of the allegations, and was reinstated as the sole credited director of the film. After granting clean chit, filmmaker’s name was added on the new poster of Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30. The film, which also stars TV actress Mrunal Thakur, was in headlines ever since its announcements.
As Hrithik and Mrunal are on a promotional spree, they have been talking about different things in their interviews. During a recent interview with PTI, when Mrunal was asked about Vikas Bahl’s controversy, she told PTI, “I thought about it but I realised, ‘what’s the fault of the film?’ The story is so wonderful, I have seen everyone working hard, while we were filming, everything was OK. I didn’t want the film to be affected. I’m glad that after everything, things have been cleared and the film is releasing on July 12. Every film goes through ups and downs, I’m glad the film is getting what it deserves.”
